    Wow. I generally avoid Robertson, but that video was worth the time. He gives “senile dementia” a bad name. McHenry is wrong about Limbaugh’s audience, however. I know some very intelligent people who follow him. “Deluded” is probably a better word than “stupid” here.

    Oddly, I have no comment on helmet laws. This paragraph intentionally left blank.

    As a Conservative, my support for gay marriage is simple: government should be limited. This is not a valid role for the government. This is the same reason I oppose helmet or seat-belt laws for adults and other intrusions. Government should focus on protecting the rights of the individual (largely from government abuse) and providing services that can’t be reasonably handled by the private sector.

    The same comment could be made about Robertson’s supporters, too, I’m sure. But they are very stupid in certain ways.
