Item the first:<\/strong> The difference in meaning between “Bound to…” and “Bound for…”<\/p>\n Nothing more to say about that. It just made something click in my brain this morning while listening to train announcements.<\/p>\n Item the second:<\/strong> This never gets old for me. Here are some terms that people were searching for when their search engines betrayed them by sending them here:<\/p>\n “bad effects of instant noodles in our brain.<\/em>” Doesn’t it make you want to talk to that person? What set him or her on that particular path? (On weeklyrob, I assume they found this page<\/a>, but no answers.)<\/p>\n “Can’t get AIDS from nail scratches.<\/em>” Were they just having an academic discussion, leading to a Google search, or was this a life and death question?<\/p>\n “I’ve read a lot of books, so I know bunches of stuff that sounds like it could be true.<\/em>” They even included the comma, which I guess Google ignores. Now, this search phrase SHOULD send them to weeklyrob, because it fairly well describes the whole entity. But I assume it brought them to a particular post.<\/p>\n
