My post rocks, of course, but here&#8217;s a link to the page for the actual <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apa.org\/pi\/wpo\/sexualization.html\">Report of the APA Task Force on the Sexualization of Girls<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Now there&#8217;s a book out, called &#8220;The Lolita Effect,&#8221; which gets a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2008\/06\/19\/AR2008061902991.html\">middling review<\/a> in the Washington Post.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the review, it sounds as though the book probably should have been a medium-length article with a sidebar called &#8220;Tips for Parents&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>So I won&#8217;t be buying it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A year ago, I posted about a report on the &#8220;sexualization&#8221; of young girls.
