(I&#8217;ve read about 30 of the  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.randomhouse.com\/modernlibrary\/100rivallist.html\">Radcliffe Publishing Course list<\/a>. But who&#8217;s ever heard of that?)<\/p>\n<p>So I figure I&#8217;ll read a few more. I&#8217;ve just started Zuleika Dobson, which is apparently a lighthearted romp, coming in at about 200 pages, including illustrations. Just what I&#8217;m looking for after having my stomach turned and blood boiled by reading about <a href=\"https:\/\/weeklyrob.com\/?p=430\">Stalin&#8217;s murders<\/a> for the last week or two.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve only read 20 or so of The Modern Library board&#8217;s list of the top 100 novels of the 1900s.
