Ok, that&#8217;s paltry when compared to the actual national debt, but it&#8217;s nothing to sneeze at. Don&#8217;t think about the national debt if that&#8217;s not your thing. Think about taxes, or something else that represents money to you.<\/p>\n<p>I know, it&#8217;s easier to carry a bunch of bills than a bunch of coins. I get it. But I also know that there are plenty of places where the single dollar (or pound) just doesn&#8217;t come in paper. And it&#8217;s really ok. It&#8217;s a small thing to suffer.<\/p>\n<p>I keep hearing about how Americans don&#8217;t ever want to sacrifice anything. No smaller cars just to reduce our dependancy on foreign oil. No recycling just to reduce landfills. No tax increase to cover some of the finances of the war that apparently the majority of people wanted to fight.<\/p>\n<p>Is this too much to ask? How about this: When handed a little gold dollar, don&#8217;t complain. Ok, that&#8217;s the new goal. Forget about using them, just don&#8217;t COMPLAIN about them. Don&#8217;t announce to the world how you hate them. Please? For me?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There, I&#8217;ve said it.
