Fiction and non-fiction are mixed. Poetry and prose.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve read five of the top ten, and about 35-40 of the 100, depending on how much of a book I have to have read to claim it. I mean, the Bible? I&#8217;ve read a lot. Shakespeare&#8217;s sonnets? I studied them, but did I read every one?<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, I OWN seven of those I haven&#8217;t read. I&#8217;m working my way towards reading them, like: &#8220;Things Fall Apart,&#8221; &#8220;An American Tragedy,&#8221; and &#8220;The Souls of Black Folks.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But come on, is Winnie the Pooh really supposed to be on the same list as Slaughterhouse-Five? Are Shakespeare&#8217;s Sonnets really to be considered a book? And &#8220;Quotations From Chairman Mao Tse-Tung&#8221;?
