Imagine a device that knows your sleep cycles and your schedule.
Example: It knows you need to be up around 8:00 a.m., but it also knows that you’re in the middle of a dream at that time. Or that you’re in the middle of a deep sleep cycle (is that the same as a dream?).
So it gives you a little time to come out of that cycle, then wakes you.

Imagine a device that logs your every move and tilt.
At the end of the day, you can check out the graphs and charts to see exactly where and how you moved throughout the day. Not exactly necessary, but pretty cool, and with a little effort I bet I could think of a cool way to use that data.

I saw both of these in Macworld magazine. I doubt that either works as well as I imagine, but it’s a pretty good start.
I always thought it was kind of cool that the vector sum of everything I do from when I get up to when I go to bed is basically zero, in that I start and end in bed.
Sounds like an image title from the xkcd comic, doesn’t it? 🙂
