Man, I had a post all ready to write. It was about how much I hate the Chinese government, and just about everything that comes out of China (except the people). Seriously.
When they’re not arresting people for no reason, or being slipshod in their quality control and health standards, they’re taking over other countries and telling them how to worship.
But then the site went down for two days and I lost the will.
Now, all I want to do is gear up for NaNoWriMo. It’s funny how I keep having the same conversations about it. Mainly, people don’t understand why. They assume that it must be to eventually publish the story.
But it isn’t. It isn’t about publishing the story. It’s about WRITING the story. Either you’re the kind of person who has often thought about writing a long story or you’re not. If you are, then I guess you’re either the kind of person who can be happy and proud to have written it, regardless of whether it’s published, or you’re not. I am.
The extremely hard thing is to let people see it as it comes. Most people doing nano are NOT letting people see it. I may change my mind partway through, because I’m going to concentrate on not editing it or fixing problems, and it’s hard to do that when I know that people are going to read it. We’ll see.
Anyway, I imagine that weeklyrob will seem sort of vacant starting Thursday, as I focus all my writing on my job (got to get paid) and the story. So if I don’t post anything until December, please forgive me and come back then!
