Happy Anniversary! Wow. Everything's Different.

So March has arrived. Or, almost. It’s been about a year since weekly rob first came crawling into the world with a post called, “Ports!”

A year’s gone by, and I’m sick of dot mac (my old hosting site), and sick of iWeb (my old blogging software), so I’m starting from scratch. I think that this page will load faster, be easier to update, easier to see (and subscribe to) comments from, and generally be better than the old one.

So… until and unless I figure out a better way, all the old posts and comments will be found by following the “Old Stuff” Link under “Archives: before march 2007” to the right.

I know, you miss the old layout, which was pretty and, dare I say it, elegant. You may miss the gorgeous picture of your host as a younger man.

Well, I haven’t quite got it figured out yet, but I do hope to soon have my old pic right up at the top again. And a pretty layout. Soon. Ish.

Incidentally, my wife points out that March also brings my birthday, her birthday, and oh yeah, our five-year wedding anniversary (and 12 years together).

Whatever. WEEKLYROB is one, and I’m so proud!

Welcome to the world of WordPress (and probably soon, comment spam!)

And congratulations on the many anniversaries of March.

Congratulations on all of these anniversaries. I considered zooking the drudge post (“you’re a liar if you claim not to know everything…”), but don’t have the energy for it. You’ve already made me laugh a few times with the posts on this new site. I’ll try to hold up my end of the job.
BTW, how do you know W *doesn’t* want to increase the level of distrust in DC? As a Conservative, I can say that he’s done a bang-up job of that so far.

    Thanks guys!

Bruce, the obvious answer as to how I know that Bush doesn’t want to increase distrust is your own statement. When was the last time he did a good job at something he was trying to do?

LOL. You’re right, of course. Oh, wait—you’re left!
With apologies to The Simpsons: I used to be right, but then they changed what “right” was, and now it’s something weird and scary.
