I’ll never forget the pictures of animals and land dying and being covered with oil.
Soon we’ll see it all over again.

The inevitable conspiracy theories have begun. At lunch yesterday, a coworker said it was probably either ecoterrorists trying to demonize oil, or Obama & Co. setting the stage for federal takeover of the oil industry.
Well, yeah, and GW Bush went to Iraq for a personal financial payday after blowing up the towers.
I told another coworker about it, and he just laughed. Until I explained that this wasn’t something I made up, or read in The Onion, but rather a serious belief. I get the attraction of conspiracy theories, but it still amazes me how quickly people fall into the quagmire, and how deep they sink.
