Global Warming

I mentioned before that Denis Dutton, aldaily.com guy (along with other things), responded almost immediately to my email about a typo on his site. It got fixed on the same day.

Then, on Christmas day, I wrote aldaily about another typo, and Denis wrote back that day again. Twice! Once to say thanks, and once to let me know it was fixed.

Ok, it was no longer Christmas in New Zealand, but that’s a remarkably fast response time for the day after Christmas (Boxing Day). And he really didn’t have to write twice. (Ok, maybe one of his minions was using his name. But still.)

Perhaps this is unrelated to my constant harping about typos, but he and Doug Campbell have started another Web site. This time, it’s not about Arts and Letters, but about the Global Warming debate. (I almost capitalized the d in debate.) Just like aldaily.com, this new site is divided by columns.

The main two columns are basically Believers in one and Skeptics in the other. Interestingly, they call them “Calls to Actions” and “Dissenting Voices.” Maybe some day they’ll have to change the second column from dissenting to majority. Who knows?

Go have a look.

Ooh! He not only personally responds to your emails, but reads your blog, too! Good on you, Denis.
